Here we present the most important changes in the vehicle registration legislation in the Czech Republic:

Valid from 1.3. 2023

EK is now valid for 1 year (MOT can also be used)

There is no need to submit a records check protocol when requesting a transcript (it is automatic in official systems)

With the vehicle in the deposit, you can drive along your own axis for a registration check (with a valid MOT and registration plates)

The deposit can be terminated without a valid vehicle registration certificate - it is therefore possible to export a vehicle abroad without a vehicle registration certificate in the deposit (a record check and a green card are enough)
